01. Lifetime Refugee

Never really know what to answer
When someone asks me where I’m from
Childhood on the roads, crossing warpaths
Without a place to call my home
When war came to an end I couldn’t settle down
I couldn’t find any fertile land
For my hopes and dreams of an eager boy
That burned down to the ground, again & again

I want to find some peace
I want to be released
Free from all the boundaries, all the lines
But I know I’m gonna be
A lifetime refugee
In this voluntary exile of mine

Sick of contemporary visions of hell
I keep on waking up on the wrong side of the bed
Sick of same old stories, same old dead ends,
Life slipping away from the sweaty hands
After all the call ups, after all the strain
Is disillusion only that remains?
Is there anything else in life to be found?
I’m taking a crash course, going underground

02. Inter City Rockers

In land of frustration, in this world of fear
Gathered from the streets of everywhere
In time when evil and ignorance reign
We can’t play it numb, ‘cause we still care

We know we may never change the world,
But we’ll sure remain ourselves
Ready to endure and make a difference
That you can’t put a price on and put it on a shelf

For all the bells of reason and sanity
Kick ‘em hard and let them ring!
and all the voices of common sense
Let’em sing, let’em sing, let’em sing!
For all the people that can’t stand the shame
Bring the fire and fan the flames!
For all the swimmers against the tide
Keep your head up high, we’re in this side by side!

On this road we took, enemies we won’t lack
Hellhounds of envy, good old knife in the back
Narrow-minded fools never wanted a change,
But we’re here to break clichés, we’re here to rearrange

And we know we may never change the world,
But we’ll sure remain ourselves
Ready to endure and make a difference
That you can’t put a price on and put it on a shelf

03. Call It A Day

Politicians selling lies at the lowest price
and you don't even know what you're buying
all they need is some dust in your eyes
you need a scapegoat for your world's declining
and they'll tell everything that you want to hear
get us all new wars and enemies
and you can keep on denying responsibility
but is there amnesty for stupidity?

call it a day, call it a day
for the sake of the unborn
call it a day, call it a day
or all hopes will be forlorn
call it a day, call it a day
oh, no it's not giving in
call it a day, call it a day
it's the only way to win

and there will always be some sacred ground
some hidden sense that needs to be found
a 'reason' to kill, a 'reason' to bleed
and an urge to feed the greed
and they gave you everything to silence your fears
an alibi for inhumanity
but now you're paying the price for your stupidity
should have known better, should have known your enemy
